Coordinator Positions

  • Coordinates the beginning of year school supply box sale

  • Works with the Art Teacher to coordinate themes and general flow of the Art Crawl

  • Organizes and facilitates the book fairs

  • Contacts and organizes dates with local restaurants for dine out fundraising

  • Organizes the signup and coordinates for conference dinners twice a year

  • Organizes the entertainment and decorations and facilitates the dance

  • Collects all the donations from the school, determines prizes and facilitates the Fun Run

  • Coordinates the Lego® Nights held quarterly

  • Updates the Maple Avenue sign to reflect relevant dates

  • Organizes and helps run the popsicles on the playground event

  • Selects dates for the Raise Right program, sends all promotional material, collects funds and organizes distribution

  • Organizes the Staff Appreciation week held in May

  • Facilitates the Staff Favorite Things list

  • Organizes Spirit Wear sale dates and items

  • Organizes the entertainment and decorations and facilitates the dance

  • Coordinates the Spring Movie Night

  • Collects information and organizes the school directory

  • Coordinates with district nurses for annual vision and hearing screening

HOME AND SCHOOL BOARD - 2 year positions

  • Erin Bellin

    Erin Bellin

    Co-President

    Erin joined Home and School starting the 2023-2024 school year. She has a daughter, Nora (5th) and son, Evan (3rd). She recently got a new job allowing her more availability to be more involved and jumped at the opportunity. She’s highly organized and looking to make a difference in streamlining processes used by the board. This will help future boards run more smoothly. She will be working to help create agendas, lead meetings, checking in with coordinators to ensure events are on schedule, and answer emails. Erin works as a Physical Therapist at Body in Balance.

    Kavyn joined the Home and School in 2021 when her twin boys started kindergarten. She works as a Medical Coder for Children's of WI. She appreciates and supports anything that takes her away from her children for a quick break.

    Secretary

    Tif has been involved with Home and School since 2019. She joined the board as Secretary starting the 2023-2024 school year. She believes in celebrating all families and ensuring all are being seen and celebrated. In addition to Secretary, Tif is the recurring Art Crawl coordinator. Many of the collaborative school wide art pieces to be installed throughout the school have started with her - such as the large block printing and ceramic projects.

    Treasurer

    Emilee is currently a stay at home mom to 2 kids - Eddy (3rd grade) and Ellis (5K). She comes to Home and School with 9 years experience in accounting before stepping back to enjoy time with her family. She enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family. Her skills, both accounting and personally make her an excellent addition to the Home and School Board and Team. She is looking forward to making connections with other parents and community members and is excited to help make Maple Avenue the absolute best for staff and students.
